Finding the right therapist

You should first ask yourself, "who do I click with best?" No matter what the qualifications or experience of the therapist you are seeing, this is the most important question. If you need medication, then a psychiatrist is the right choice for you since he or she is a mental health professional that can prescribe them for you. If you want a problem diagnosed quickly and that is complex, then a psychologist might be a good choice since he or she can do psychological testing and come to some good conclusions based on that. And if you are just wanting psychotherapy then any of the psychiatrist, psychologist, or master's level therapists can help you out. I hope that this has been helpful.
